The diamond shape burners allow you to cook on multiple pans/pots at the same time with plenty room between them as well as speed up the cooking process. Lovely hob - a big step up from my old one. The position of the rings and trivets means that there is more space available to rest pans. The various sizes of rings gives you options to move your plans according to the heat needed: start on the biggest ring for quick heating up, move to small ring to simmer. Easy to clean and smart looks, but one draw back is that it scratches easily - but it's not very noticeable.

I LOVE this Smeg hob, it’s the third one I’ve bought, every house I moved to I’ve put one in! I like the diamond layout, plenty of rooms when using a wok, and the small ring is just right for my coffee percolator. It is also very easy to clean.
